The Bus & Coach Society of Victoria (BCSV) is excited to welcome guest speaker Lisa Faldon from Transport Safety Victoria for our May social meeting at 3pm on Sunday 15 May 2022.

This meeting was postponed in July 2020.

Lisa was appointed Director, Bus Safety in November 2019 after acting in the role since October 2018. Previous roles at TSV since 2016 have included Acting Director, Maritime Safety and the Manager of Research, Strategy and Risk.

Lisa will provide the audience with special insight into Transport Safety Victoria’s role to enforce safety and accreditation standards across the bus industry.
The meeting will close at about 5pm with tea and coffee afterwards and a chance to share the latest bus industry gossip.

Both members and guests are welcome, free admission.

VENUE: MT WAVERLEY – DRIVER BUS LINES DEPOT
We will once again meet at the Driver Bus Lines depot at 45-53 Ricketts Road Mt Waverley, with thanks to Gary Driver.

There is ample parking in Ricketts Road. Attendees are asked to assemble in the car park outside the entrance to the office at about 2.50pm.

For those using public transport, Route 693 leaves from Oakleigh Station at 2.23pm and stops at Gilby Road in Ferntree Gully Road and the depot is a 5 minute walk to the other end of Gilby Road.

Alternatively, Route 703 from Syndal Station at 2.35pm travels along Blackburn Road to Rickett’s Road also with a five minute walk to the depot west down Ricketts Road.

Route 737 from Croydon also travels along Blackburn Rd.
