The 700-series over the years has covered traditional Ventura services across the eastern suburbs, from their popular 700, 703, 733 & 767 north-south routes to several local routes radiating from Box Hill, Mitcham, Glen Waverley, Knox City and Boronia. The 700-series has also been used by routes serving Mordialloc, Frankston, Cranbourne and along the Mornington Peninsula.
