BCSV October Tour: Ventura ‘Old & New’ Afternoon

Join the BCSV for our next tour on Sunday 11 October 2026. Spend your Sunday afternoon riding a variety of Ventura buses in a range of liveries.

Details of the exact buses to be used are still being negotiated but it is likely to include soon to be retired Mercedes-Benz O500LE low floor vehicles before sampling with some brand-new coaches wearing Ventura’s new charter colour-scheme.

The tour will coincide with the 20 year anniversary of Route 900 SmartBus, with the once synonymous silver & orange livery fast vanishing from Melbourne streets.

While there will be several photo stops, we will not be visiting any depots.

ITINERARY
Pick up will be at Oakleigh Station at midday and return around 4:30pm. Wait on the southern side of the station on Johnson St (625, 701 & 733 stop).

Attendees are advised to have had their lunch beforehand. We plan to include an afternoon tea stop. (~30 mins)

FARES & RSVP
Fares will be $5 for members and $15 for non-members. U/18s will be half price.
