Ventura reached 75 years of operation in Melbourne at the end of 1999.

#14, a brand new Northcoast Scania L94UB, was delivered in November 1999 wearing a special anniversary livery that it retained until about 2010. This bus later became #829 before being renumbered yet again in 2014 as #1171 due to a numbering conflict with #829 (Scania K230UB, Volgren) ex Grenda, ex Invicta.
